Education
Dr. Katie studied Applied Exercise Science at Azusa Pacific University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree. She went on to graduate summa cum laude and salutatorian of her class at Life Chiropractic College West. She is now continuing her education through a postgraduate credential program focused on caring for children and pregnant women. This advanced training allows her to bring specialized knowledge in pediatric and perinatal techniques, gentle assessments, and evidence-informed care—offering families support that goes beyond what’s typically taught in chiropractic colleges.
Background
Dr. Katie’s mom will tell you that her very first word was—fittingly—“baby.” From the very beginning, she’s had a deep love for babies and everything surrounding motherhood, a passion that has only grown stronger with time.
At just 10 years old, Dr. Katie watched her mother bravely battle breast cancer—a defining chapter that left a lasting impression. Spending so much time in hospitals, she knew early on that she wanted to dedicate her life to helping others. But witnessing her mom fight for her health inspired a shift in perspective: instead of treating sickness, she longed to be part of a profession focused on keeping people healthy.
That desire, coupled with a deep trust in God’s guidance, led her to chiropractic. She felt called to a path that aligned with her faith—supporting the body’s God-given ability to heal and thrive. In the summer of 2021, she graduated from Life Chiropractic College West—walking the stage while pregnant with her first baby. Since then, Dr. Katie has devoted her career to serving pregnant mamas and their little ones, blending clinical skill with heartfelt care and prayerful intention.
Originally from California, Dr. Katie is now fully embracing New England life and is grateful to live out her calling alongside her husband, Dr. Ben. In her free time, she can be found lost in a good thriller novel, chasing after her two sweet kiddos, or soaking up family time with the ones she loves most.
